Starting the Replication Manager automatically starts and connects to the Replicator Service on the local computer. The service appears in the left pane of the Replicator Manager window as the computer name, such as MYCOMPUTER.
Should you need to stop the service you can select the Start Service command when you are ready to re-start the service again. The Start Service command is available from the Service menu in the menu bar, or by selecting the computer name and right-clicking to display a context menu. You also can start and stop the Data Replicator service from the Windows Services Control Panel.
