From the Values drop-down menu, select Yes, No, or <Default>. Setting the option to Yes enables held cursors. Setting it to No disables held cursors.
The behavior of held cursors when the <Default> setting is selected depends on the host platform:
On DB2 for z/OS, <Default> enables held cursors (equivalent of Yes ).
On DB2 for i and DB2/UDB, <Default> disables held cursors (equivalent of No).
On platforms that do not support held cursors, this setting is ignored.
If you are upgrading from a previous version of StarSQL, you may need to use StarAdmin to delete and rebind the SQL catalog package, after changing the held cursors setting.
See Held Cursors Overview for more information about this option.
