Configuring a License Server

To configure the license service on a particular server,

1. From the left pane of the StarLicense Manager window, select the computer that you want to configure. (See Adding a Server if the desired computer is not already displayed in StarLicense Manager.)

2. Right-click and select the Configuration command, or click the button in the Toolbar.

A Configuration dialog with five tabs appears so you can:

• control the license service,

• manage licences,

• configure backup license servers,

• specify ports on which to listen for license requests, and

• log license activity.
