You can use the Management Console to:
StarPipes servers are displayed on the left pane of the Management Console. An active StarPipes server has an icon with a green arrow pointing up (). An inactive StarPipes server has a red arrow pointing down (
).
You can add a StarPipes server and subsequently have the ability to view its active connections.
To add a server:
From the Server menu bar, select Add or click on the icon for new server.
Enter the TCP/IP host name of the computer or the IP address where the StarPipes Server is installed. If it is the computer you are using, you can select the default [Local Machine].
Click OK to add the server.
After you add the StarPipes server, it's name appears in the left pane.
Removing a StarPipes server from the Management Console only deletes it from the list of StarPipes servers being managed.
To remove a server:
From the Server menu bar, select Remove or click on the Delete icon on the toolbar.
Click OK to confirm removing the server.
This option displays the StarPipes Configuration Application menu. If you want to stop or start a StarPipes server, use the Service Control panel of this application.
To view server properties from the Server menu bar, select Properties or click on the Properties icon on the toolbar.
