Preparing DB2 for z/OS Hosts

The Distributed Data Facility (DDF) is a component of DB2 for z/OS. Its primary task is to process Distributed Relational Database Architecture (DRDA) requests. DDF must be active for a desktop to connect to DB2 using StarSQL.
