The Resync tab of the StarSQL Resource Manager Properties dialog allows you to specify the communications port that the host uses when it needs to contact the Resource Manager for status and recovery operations. The default port number that the Resource Manager uses is 5020. The port number specified in the Resource Manager must match the port number specified for the RESPORT parameter on the DB2 host.
If you change any of the Resource Manager properties, you must restart the service for the new properties to take affect.
