Communications

The communication properties that StarPipes uses to service database requests are configured with the following panels:

• The Listeners panel specifies the TCP/IP ports that StarPipes monitors, and whether SSL is used for incoming connections.

• The Routing panel defines TCP/IP, SSL and SNA routes to databases, and

• The Aliasing panel defines aliases to redirect a database request to a different database.
