The Data Replicator Service runs as a Windows service. As such, you can control it from the Windows Services Control Panel or from the Service menu of the Data Replicator Manager. The Data Replicator Service is represented by the name of the computer in the left pane of the Replicator Manager window.
The SQL Server service must be running for the Replicator Service to access its control database, and the Replicator Service must be running to replicate data. The topics in this section describe how to:
